it’s a very beautiful parallel with everything happening in a place mirroring that of the past and echoing its memories.
remember the face of Yashiro in middle school and the stunned face he had was how he felt so alone (the very first yaoi character that made me cry so much as how Yashiro cried). then, chapter 23 came out and again he had this stunned face but no worries its not because he’s lonely, its from the moment he can’t believe the world is changing for him. he got confessed by Doumeki. someone has sincerely in love with him. someone is trying to protect him. someone is saving him. and that someone is Doumeki. I am so happy for Yashiro. now babe, forget the past. just look forward to the present. don’t worry you’re not alone anymore, Doumeki is with you forever.
